Sustainability
Sustainable. Better Choice.
Ocean Company is proud to be a circular and therefore sustainable company. We process the by-products from the filleting companies and maximize not only the value for the filleting companies but also for Mother Earth.
We save one kilogram at a time. For every kilogram of fish by-products we successfully upgrade to human-grade food products, we save one kilogram of fish that does not need to be farmed or caught at sea.
And when we succeed in processing millions of kilograms a year, we have a significant impact on both farming practices and sea catches.

Sustainability
Reducing food miles and CO₂ emissions
Imagine the food miles salmon and cod accumulate each day as trucks transport them to their destinations. Thanks to the impact of Ocean Company, we have saved a minimum of 425,000 metric tons of CO₂ emissions by reducing the need for truck transportation.
Our dedication to sustainability also extends to compliance and continuous improvement. We are proud to be ranked among the top 15% of the most sustainable businesses assessed by EcoVadis, demonstrating our commitment to responsible sourcing and environmental stewardship.
We are proud to meet globally recognized sustainability and quality standards:
